Dance, Zumba and Theatre

We teach over a 1000 local children a week , offering the largest and diverse timetable of classes to choose from, and we have specialists in classical ballet (I.S.T.D. official examiners), commercial street, modern jazz, tap, acro dance, contemporary, adult classes, private singing, LAMDA and musical theatre.
Whether your child wants to attend once a week, or several times a week, we have the knowledge and breadth of classes to suit everyone, in a stress free environment. We are truly passionate about dance and performing, and cater for children who want to dance for a hobby and for those who have aspirations to perform as a career. We are a happening school, teaching in many local schools with an abundance of diverse performing opportunities - Harlequin Theatre, Royal Albert Hall, Dancing with Strictly Come Dancing’s Pasha Kovalev (3 yrs), as well as many local events and school fetes.

Each term our Primary Students perform in an end of term show to friends and family, with the type of show varying depending on the term. In the Autumn term children children work on a winter Pantomime, in Spring students work on songs, dances and scenes relating to a theme for the term and in the Summer our junior students work on a creative project whilst our infant students have a 'Fun and Free' term. At SCTA we offer more than musical theatre training, we give our students a chance to make friends, develop as people and have great fun whilst learning lots.

Star Steppers Performing Arts Ltd. run a number of theatre schools in Surrey, priding themselves in delivering high quality, inclusive dance, singing and drama training to young people that engages them in physical activity, encourages their artistic talents and builds upon their confidence and social skills. Anna Brunton and Hannah Everitt, directors of Star Steppers are both professionally trained dancers and performers, and highly experienced teachers. Their dance experience includes Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and much more. Star Steppers Dance Parties are proving a very popular choice for parents in Surrey and the South East. Tailor-made to fit the requests and requirements of the birthday boy or girl and suitable for all ages, these parties are a LOT of fun! Not only does it make your party organising experience very straight forward, your child's party will be the talk of the playground at school! Star Steppers work with a number of schools in and around Surrey providing educational dance workshops, breakfast dance clubs, after-school dance clubs and BTEC Dance training. In May 2011 they were commissioned to coordinate the East Surrey Dance Festival “East Surrey Steps Up’, which was such a success that it has now become an annual event. We encourage all our students to enjoy their dancing in a happy, friendly and safe environment. Whilst we set high standards our ethos is always that students should have a fun and rewarding class.
C&C Dance School have a Bi-Annual Show held at The Harlequin Theatre in Redhill which is a wonderful opportunity for the children to perform in a professional venue.

Reigate Dance Studio is Reigate's first commercial dance school, offering the latest and most urban dance genres, as well as traditional styles. We teach Street, Contemporary, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Modern, and offer Adult classes in Yoga, Zumba, Ballet and Street.
Our Principal, Lucy Pocock, has performed all over the world and taught for more than 10 years all over Surrey, and in Australia. Lucy has also been chosen to be one of the two Local Ambassadors for Sweaty Betty (Reigate store), and works closely with their team at offering local events to Reigate Dance Studio customers.
